About the Album

A Ritual in Sound

IV is the fourth chapter of The Wizard Project and a conceptual work inspired by Liber ABA (Book 4) — the foundational treatise on magick by Aleister Crowley. More than an album, IV was conceived as a ceremonial progression, where each track represents a stage of discipline, transformation, and inner alchemy.
Musically, the album blends progressive rock structures with atmospheric soundscapes, ambient textures, and ritualistic spoken passages. Expansive guitar layers, hypnotic rhythms, and moments of stark minimalism create a dynamic interplay between tension and release. Silence is used as deliberately as distortion; space is as meaningful as sound.
Lyrically, IV explores themes of will, devotion, mastery, sacrifice, and transcendence. It does not aim to instruct, but to evoke. Rather than offering explanations, the album invites listeners to enter a symbolic landscape — to confront, reflect, and ultimately cross their own inner thresholds.

Influenced by the conceptual ambition of classic progressive rock and filtered through an esoteric lens, IV stands as a cohesive experience meant to be heard in full. It is not a collection of isolated songs, but a continuous journey.
